  • At first due to the invitation, she thought perhaps Floyd didn't want to give her a way but

    • Now due to the rejection of Floyd, she now thinks he rejected her from the beginning.

    • She misunderstands that Floyd only brought Christine here all this way, to reject her to spite her.

WE get a montage of all the aftermath of the ordeal, a good author wouldn't just randomly add this so lets go over some reasons.

  • George looks up to the light and goes about his daily chorus.

    • He is indifferent of all this trauma, and still benefits from it.

    • Trauma surrounds him.

Gentle wind on the bridge, the first time it is described occurs when June and Christine are together in the bridge. SYmbolizes that June is the pseudo-mom of Christine.

Christine brings as everytime she appears on the bridge its always a good time, --> its a sunny day & helped keep Floyd calm in the train dream
