Calorimetry -Solving Problems

First some definitions:

1. System: an object or a set of objects

   1. Everything else in the universe is called the Environment, I.e. the surroundings

2. Closed System

   1. No mass enters or leaves the system

   2. Ideal Physics Situations

   3. Isolated Closed System: means no energy or mass enters of leaves

3. Open System

   1. Mass may enter of leave the system

   2. Plants and animals in which mass is thoroughly researched
